Below is a community-friendly donation policy that aligns with Bohemia Interactive's monetization rules while clearly setting expectations for your players.

Donations & Community Support Policy

 

Operation Sky Jumper is a community built by players, for players. Donations help offset the costs of server hosting, development, custom content, events, and continued improvements across the OSJ network. Every contribution is greatly appreciated but is completely voluntary.

 

By donating or purchasing optional cosmetic items, you agree to the following policies.

1. Donations Are Voluntary

• Donations are never required to play on Operation Sky Jumper.

• Every player has access to the full gameplay experience without making a purchase.

• Choosing not to donate will never prevent you from joining or enjoying our servers.

 

2. Donations Support the Community

All contributions are used to help fund:

• Server hosting

• Website hosting

• Custom mod development

• Community events

• New content creation

• Infrastructure upgrades

• Future OSJ projects

Donations help us continue providing a high-quality experience for the entire community.

 

3. Cosmetic & Convenience Items

OSJ may offer optional cosmetic or convenience items that do not provide an unfair gameplay advantage. Items will given distributed by and Admin in game at a Trader location. Any custom reskin that gives an unfair advantage will not be designed. Any PVP action can not be effected by color, camo, or clear/invisible textures or patterns. This applies to any base or storage items as well.

Examples may include:

• Custom weapon skins

• Custom clothing skins

• Cosmetic vehicle skins

• Name colors or Discord perks

• Community supporter titles

These items are designed to personalize your experience without impacting game balance.

 

4. Fair Gameplay

Operation Sky Jumper is committed to maintaining a fair and balanced environment.

OSJ will never intentionally sell items or perks that create an unfair competitive advantage or violate Bohemia Interactive's monetization policies.

 

5. Digital Goods

All purchases are considered digital products.

Once an item has been delivered to your account:

• Purchases are non-transferable.

• Purchases cannot be exchanged for cash.

• Items have no real-world monetary value.

 

6. Refund Policy

Because digital items are delivered immediately:

• All sales are final.

• Refunds are generally not available after delivery.

• If an item cannot be delivered because of an administrative error, our staff will work with you to resolve the issue.

 

7. Wipes & Seasonal Content

Some purchased items may be tied to the current season or server.

Unless specifically stated otherwise:

• Server wipes may remove in-game items.

• Cosmetic entitlements and subscriptions will follow the terms listed on the product description.

• Certain purchases, such as Season Passes, may include wipe protection when advertised.

 

8. Account Responsibility

Players are responsible for:

• Protecting their Discord and Steam accounts.

• Using the correct account when making purchases.

• Contacting staff before purchasing if they have questions.

OSJ is not responsible for purchases made on the wrong account.

 

9. Community Conduct

Purchasing supporter items or donating does not provide:

• Administrative authority

• Immunity from server rules

• Priority during disputes

• Special treatment by staff

All players are expected to follow the same community rules regardless of supporter status.

 

10. Policy Changes

Operation Sky Jumper reserves the right to modify available supporter packages, pricing, cosmetic rewards, and donation policies at any time to remain compliant with Bohemia Interactive's monetization requirements.

 

Existing purchases will be honored according to the terms in effect at the time of purchase whenever reasonably possible.

 

Bohemia Interactive Compliance

Operation Sky Jumper operates in accordance with Bohemia Interactive's DayZ Server Monetization Program.

Our monetization model is designed to ensure:

• Donations remain completely optional.

• Non-donating players retain full access to gameplay.

• Cosmetic purchases do not provide unfair gameplay advantages.

• Community fairness remains our highest priority.

If Bohemia Interactive updates its monetization policies, OSJ will promptly adjust its offerings to remain fully compliant.
